The Greatest Things In Life Aren't Things...

"The greatest things in life aren't things, they are the relationships you have with each other, because in the end, those relationships are the only things that we take with us on into the future."

In the book, "7 Habits of Highly Effective People," Stephen Covey states that one of the 7 habits is to "Begin with the End in mind". When you think about it, when we are on our death bed, the only "things" we will want around us...are those people who we build know, like and trust relationships with.

We are not going to care how much money is in the bank, or how many trophies are in our shadow box, or how many signed jerseys or cards that we have in our collection, or how many awards we won, or how many homes, cars or toys we have...because in the end it does not matter...you won't be able to take those things with you.

The only thing we are going to care about is how many people will be able to come and say goodbye to us...how many people who are going to take the time out of their day to wish us the best in the next life.

Keep this in mind as you go through your life, and always look to grow those know like and trust relationships wherever you go!

Have a great day everyone!
